Ok, so who's on the Peds bandwagon this year?

If you're definitely or seriously considering applying to the best field there is in all of medical practice, then let yourself be known. Sign up here!

What do you get in return? Nothing but support. But maybe it has some value too.

Babies rock! nod

I am applyint Ped Match 2009. But I am not sure where I should start for this match application. The first step is getting electronic token from ECFMG? Am I right?

Hi.

If you're wondering 'what if I mess up Step 2 also?', then you should spend time on your prep and make sure that you don't. Loads of people score less in Step1, and even get 99 on Step 2. We have a few examples on this forum. In fact, for most people, Step 2 score is higher than Step 1 score.

Getting in to a good prog depends on many factors. Since you have a whole year, you should and can try to plump up your CV. Get USCE. Peds progs esp place a lot of emphasis on displays of commitment to the field. So see if you can do some Peds related activity/work in your home country. Apart from these, you need to impress on interview day.

Hope this helped. Good luck.

Hmm, awesome stuff! esp the ones with sample IV qns. I have a tough time preparing for those coz obviously anticipating an unusual qn is not possible.

Thank you, Gotan!
