An investigator has designed a drug that is transported into the cell through a membrane channel and remains isolated in the cytoplasm. The drug will most likely directly influence which of the following cellular processes?
A) DNA transcription B) Electron transport C) Glycolysis D) Protein folding E) Transcription factor binding

DNA transcription occurs in the Nucleus and so the drug in the cytoplasm will not directly affect DNA transcription.
Not sure if its glycolysis or protein folding.
I am leaning towards glycolysis because it occurs exclusively in the cytoplasm and therefore a drug would directly affect glycolysis.
Protein folding occurs heavily in the ER as well as the cytoplasm.
...i dunno anyone have the right answer?

to influence / increase protein folding thats like sayin it goes to nucleus / binds transcription factor / does gene expression / transcribes / translates and increases protein folding at ER ..
