hey guys! one of my LOR has been signed in black ink but it has the stamp of the institution in blue ink . will it be ok to send it? or do i have to get the LOR made again? will it be considered an original? because it is an original. the person who wrote it forgot that i had asked thm to sign in blue. please lemme knw.

You should contact ERAS support for this issue. They will reply the e-mail in one day. I've read on ECFMG website that LoR signed with black ink is considered to be a copy of original. Their e-mail address is: eras-support@ecfmg.org Their contact no. is : (215) 386-5900

ofcourse if it is original, it will look original You can always contact ERAS about the signature color.. though blue institutional seal is an enhanced sign of authentication.. it should be fine in my view if you cannot get another letter. 2 years ago, I submitted 2 / 3 LORs in black ink but with institutional seal.
