I got my score freport today..got 226/94.
I am happy with my score coz the exam was really difficult and all this time i was praying for 80.
As for my preparation i studied for abt 8 9 months and seriously last 3 months.
I used Kaplan book ,Goljan for pathology and HY molecular bio.histo .general anat and neuroanat.Plus the text books whenever i needed.
I did UW n Kaplan q banks for questions
and for last revision FA
Friends my exam was not comparable to UW or KAplan or NBME ..it was much tougher so for the future exam takers be preapared for something difficult than UW.
This forum has been a great help n i wud like to thank many of my frens fron this forum..Milee ,abc1234.. and lots more.
I am off for my cs preparation which is on 25th of JUly

Congratulation , most sincere , honest prep re exm experinces , admitting exm is tough .
Thnx mate for let us know to read lots well , not to content with UW , kap Qs only .

Medschoolmania i took all the NBMEs n i got in high 400s n low 500s, i took all of them online except for form 1 which i solved the downlaoded one.
In UW assessment also i got some 510 i think.
My NBME scores were not so good bcoz of which i kept postponing my exam till the point where i had no more patience.
The exam was comparable to NBME 6 tho.
After my exam too I was so scared even to post my exam experience .

I do only NEME 1 and 5. I think 5 is closer to real exam

Hey doc499, good job on step1. Like shwe says thanks for letting us know the exam might be harder and UWorld. So we are mentally prepared for the worst. Thanks again for the post. Are the Hi yields absolutely necessary addition to Kaplan - do they have points that Kaplan doesnt have?

i feel i m doomed !! u r soo right exam was way too harder than uworld !!
