Does anybody know which is the average preparation time for step 2 if you just had step 1 and the material is still familiar? And if you have already graduated and worked as a doctor in another country? I know,this all depends on your time you have and how fast you read but still.... I want to apply for residency this fall,step CS is already done and hope step1 very soon...

It varies so much from person to person and depends on so many factors but I would say 3 months of hard work for step 2 is sufficient, assuming it is full time and the step 1 material is fresh in your memory...
