I wouldn't have a clue what happens at ECFMG (or ERAS). I don't work for them, and that information isn't passed along to the program.
Have you googled the doctor that you are looking for?

Yes i tried finding him but he doesnt work for that hospital anymore so i couldnt find him...
also, i understand that LORs are verified so those doctors can be contacted since LORs are recent..
but do progams want to get verificaton for the work experience from the doctors we have worked with?

In 20 years, I have never verified an applicants work experience, except when I know the letter writer from past residency and want to catch up with them. Then it's social, not verifying.
