are you sure they dont want the transcript from the school itself, to be 'official' i mean i just presumed, no one wants a transcript from the 'student's hands' themselves do they?? maybe i'll email them to find out.. i could have sworn.. otherwise i'm going thru a big pain trying to get ahold of my school to send transcript for no reason??

The transcript is already sent to ECFMG by our medical school when they send for verification of credentials.Now we have to send a copy of the transcript to ERAS as ECFMG already has original(if credentials verified)

I agree with docdoc9. I sent in a copy of my transcript that I got back in 2002 and didn't have any problems.

Guys, my transcript is just on a regular good quality paper. Is that how everyone's is?
It just looks too simple to be called by such a big word like 'Transcript'

Mine is so simple ,it is on plain paper with just the clock hoursof each subject on it.I know it is poor but I cant help it.... And as far as the Dean's letter it just says that I was a student of the college and of good character and have passed all the exams in first attempt.

transcript literally means any info which has been transmitted by the med school to other authorities about you, so what biggie are you people trying to get out of it, anybody please explain, its the same document that allowed you to take step1 of USMLE in 1st place. Since it worked then, it shall work again
