Dear Journal,
net probs kept me away ... so how are we doing ?
well not so happy with the pace, could complete only gen pharma ...
realised i was weak in few concepts  , soo read up big books.
On good side, now i have learned them
Reminder
1-focus on consistency first and then gradually increase pace.
2- revise the concepts i've learned

Dear Journal,
i started with biochem today ....all those long forgotten pathways .... kaplan is not enough for me  ...need a supplement book so that it makes more sense.
soo well now i'll keep biochem aside for a while, revise pharma first , do some qs and then take up biochem again.
on good side, i got leave from work , so i better make good use of it
Reminder
concepts : do them rite, do them well ....and try to do them fast

Goodmorning Journal,
soo where am i in prep....right where i was ....but im not complaining...bcos things improved on personal front.... im happy about that.
i have been trying timetables and schedules ....they work for few days and then back to square one 
it just dawned on me that like every person.... each day is unique , it comes with unique promises.
i guess this is what learning is. you suddenly understand something you have understood all your life , but in a new way .
Soooo with spirit soaring high ...i hope i can make good use of today and make up for the lost hours.

i was away ...couldn't write....didn't study ......BAD 
no matter where i go, i must take carry atleast 1 book n keep reading whatever i can .... breaks dont do me any good
alrite whats done is done ...get back to books and make the best of NOW

Hey Gauri,
You get stuck now and then with Biochem, don't get discouraged.
I agree you need the text book you used in your med school days .Watch the videos it will make a lot of sense.
One good thing about Biochem is that it is like maths you can become 100% perfect if you are persistent.
Watch these, not very good qulaity though.

yeah biochem kinda bogged me down. but maybe more so bcos i combined it with gen pharmac... two dry topics !! and it has soo many calculations ...uuhh i dont like calculations . anyways, plan is to complete biochem within next 2-3 days and then move on to better , more juicy subjects

i have just started. i'll do qs from 2nd read onwards . i plan to wrap up my 1st read asap, so that i get quick but more no of revisions ....as that helps me retain better.
you are doing good. you can most definetly do the remaining 20 now ...just imagine that these 20 qs will fetch you 99 ...and then see .... you might end up doing 20 more then

Gauri...you have a great thread going here... I love you poetry. I am also winding up my first read ...but I feel you have to start First Aid and Questions of the topic you just covered and understood right away. Many have regreted doing that ......me included but I have tried in the last few subj I covered and made a lot of reinforcement and sense as to how you have to know the material to answer the question. Maybe you can start with Qbook or offline questions....not subcribe yet and save for your 2nd read.
Anyway I wish you all the best........welcome to STEP1 preparation world. It is challenging ........but that's what makes stuyding and mastering it fun !
