I know that this has already been discussed before but please if somebody could tell me again as I am paranoid : If we have done only medical graduation in our home country and even if we are registered with the medical council of our own country we still choose 'No" for board certification in licensure information.Am I right? And for state licenses we select "none" if we have no US licenses-am I correct? Thanks a ton!

About photo: What kind of photo will you guys use? A selfmade or a professional one? It is only for recognizing us right? So before they invite us to an interview they will not be able to see the pic right?

Hi everyone I have a doubt.I am now doing USCE and I will get LOR only by end of this month. So by the time it reaches ECFMG and gets uploaded and scanned it might take 1 morte month. So if I am applying on Sept 1 with my home country LOR's ,will the programmes who are considering me for interview ever get a chance to read the LOR from my USCE submitted by the end of this month?? Thank you

some one told me that if one has either applied or taken step 3 they have to request FSMB for USMLE transcript? Can any one make it clear to me.

usmle_u I had the same problem. But this is what I have found out, you do not have to apply to fsmb or ecfmg to transmit your usmle transcrip to eras. the transmission of usmle transcript has to be done internally through eras:documents->usmle transcript-> request usmle transcript for matching process. application to fsmb is to be made for transmission of usmle transcript to state medical boards for licensing.

At least that is USCE, I think. BTW, how can you be a physician assistant? Are you certified for that? Thanks for reply.

I notice some programs are asking for 2 LORs from faculty members who supervised during subinternship, internship, externship or residency. I am sending only from my internship back home.I need some advice, should i prefer LORs from my supervisor back home over canadian LORs? My supervisors liked me but still their references are week in terms of language and content. Any input........
