hi

is it a requirement to clear step 3 for H-1 visa?

what if u r only registrered for step 3 by the time of match????

yeah..u need to clear step3 for h1-b.....the thing is u can do it by feb end...so chill...but then visa offering programs usually prefer those who completed their step 3...so it`s always better to have a complete application...and in ur CAF choose automatic update...so that u dont have to inform the programs about ur status...good luck

Step three results are needed in your hand to apply for an H1b visa.

I m an IMG and registered for step 2 CK... done with rest...

i am planning to apply thi syear for residency.. i dont thik i wil be able to get over with step 3 before sept.. but i think i can before match....

what do u think should i apply for residency or not??

plus if i apply this yr and dont get into any program.. ar e my chances decreased for the next year bcoz of this????

Is applying fo rJ-1 visa suitable fo rme?? i m on H-4 right now and a canadian permanent resident..

and also:

once your credentials are verified by ECFMG .. any work experience letter that you submit in your residency application is also verified????

Like i got my work experience letter last year from my home country and also one is from another doctor in an hospital back in 2006 ...

what if that doctor is not available for verification or something?

Different programs are going to have different guidelines and rules. No straight answer. What I mean is that when you apply for your visa in March/April, you will need to definately have the results in your hand. Some programs might ask for it sooner than that.
