Hi friend, 202= 82 or 83 study well and you will get a better score on the test....NBME-is not everything.....I have seen people failing NBMEs and getting scores in the 80s....

dear MAB i was aiming for high 90`s but this sure is blow to me. anyone out there i needed a suggestion since i got such a bad score of 440 on nbme2 have 3 weeks left for exam what should i do do the wrong questions from UW? (coz UW subscription is left for only 20 days) or STUDY THE AREAS IN WHICH IM WEAK ACC TO NBME FROM BOOK? actually its very hard for me to manage coz i ve 15 month old daughter with her its very hard to study full time so dont think my nbme score will improve much

R u talking ab me? ...this is my case 3 wks before I have taken the test on 8/July ...I`m still waiting for results, anyway U still have 3 wks which are enough to improve ur prep...Yes U have to review ur weak areas according to NBME and to ur own feeling...U can also redo the wrong answers in UW If U still have time. Best thing to do is covering your week areas, then take NBME again...Best Wishes

my advise is please don't take NBMEs anymore....and study hard and go through weak areas....my case is very similar to yours(just except I don't have kid )..my UW is going to expire in 18 days....I am done with it and doing it over and over again..now I am getting around 75-93%....also did marked ones and got around 70-80%....reviewing IM again and will do Surgery next....please don't be stressed and if you study with good concentration...you will definately improve your score...good luck...

hey not much time!!! yest day is spoke with a lady who got 90 in nbme nd 99 in step 2 ...so take ur call....i feel doing the weaker wreas is better nd another thing just read the underlined stuff...no need to read each nd every word....nd regarding the last querry...even i have the same problem...the thing is we tend to remember the things which we already knew..and forget the stuff which we r not very familiar with...i underline such points with green ink...so that it would be easy for my last read...i will just go through lines underlined in green...good luck....

not much time, I have the same feelings after I read...for step-1 your strategy was accurate..thats the way it should be....but that is not true for step-2 ck...here you need to know the concepts and apply them in clinical scenarios....so many times I don't know about the diagnosis but I still get the question right......for example..abdominal aortic aneurysm...diagnosed by Ultrasound and treated surgically...smoking and HTN are risk factors....thats what USMLE expects us to know...very few vague or wierd questions....and one more thing..having a kid and getting score around 85...for me itselfd a very big glory and its already 99 ....you still have couple of more weeks....and you will make in 90s for sure..just don't get discouraged and keep doing questions and reading....wish you good luck

hi! my personal experience was: 450 on nbme 5 days before the test.....real score 92 and i did the test with a lot of stress because my baby was sick and in the hosp (thanks God nothing seroius and she is fine now) but i can't imagine how i did it, i can't even recall a single question of my step 2 ck.....maybe for some people 92 is not good enough but for me (and those with childs know what i'm talking about) is the best score ever. the point is don't be scared for the nbme score because most of the times is not predictive at all . Best wishes for you!!!!

not much time: do you have UW? because something really helpful is the week before the test (if you already complete the UW) do 400 Q mixed and timed and only review the wrong.it works for me and i'm planning do it again with step 3, sometimes i think that if i was used that technique with step 1 maybe y was got a better score . anyway best of wishes for you and keep in touch . remenber, never loose your faith..... this process it's hard but possible
