Thanks for taking the time to reply to all these questions . I'm taking my test august 25th. I've been doing nothing but Uworld over and over again. Do you think that will be enough? How effectively does Uworld cover the tested concepts on the real test?? Thanks again and best of luck to you.

hello mogazus..

i believe usmleworld nearly covers all concepts which ll be tested on exam , but i must advise u to add first aid to ur schedule and u can revise parts from review books ( whichever u read , like kaplan , brs) for the stuff u r weak in.. u still have time , so u can really do this nodnodnod
this is jus to keep ur hands up - 'pugilism' grin

Hi Oyzter

1.I m a foreign and fresh graduate. ( Graduation year 2007)
2.About usmleworld being done from the book , i dont know how much it helps. but doing it from computer screen surely helps ( coz it kinda fools u about how much u read , each explanation on computer is around 1 and half page of book atleast but u keep reading as u dont realize that wink, secondly for the exam we should be used to look at computer screen for long)
3.yeah i would definitely advise u to listen to goljan audios along with brs patho again ( reading goljan patho anew will be cumbersome and tiring)
4. My study partner scored 98/234 , she's very happy , and so am i grin

Hi Spinal shock

Well , I do no job. I am a fresh medical graduate and all i did after finishing my graduation was to concentrate on step1 . Initially I thought of doing some job after graduation and prepare for usmle along. But my parents recommended me that i dont need to do the job , and in fact use that time to give the steps fast . I kinda liked that idea and im sticking to it.. I ll do a job , if at all i have to do , after im done with required steps and cs. But lemme tell u , it is possible to do both things simultaneously. Though there is considerable dependence on one's own personality.
For eg- I cant do a job even of 3 hrs a day and study efficiently. I can largely do one thing at a time with really good concentration. I hate when im not able to give proper concentration to any one thing im in.

About sleep , U wont believe but i wont lie - least sleep i take is 8 hrs , and max upto 11 hrs.. avg around 8 and half -9 hrs per day!grin
