Hello everyone, I just want to learn what clerkship and internship are. What is the difference between them. The reason I am asking is that some internal medical graduates says that we did our internship as a part of medical school. My medical school was 6 years and in last year I did rotations in every department and I worked like a resident under supervision. Am I did a clerkship or internship now. How am I going to do in CAF. Thanks.

intership in some international countries = rotataion in almost all departments= transitional yr in U.S ( which is not mandatory and done after graduation) internship in U.S = first yr of residency clerkship= rotation
