In one of the cases, the patient was in ICU, still unstable, when the software decided to close the case. In the 5 minute time to change orders, should the next set of orders be for ICU itself, or orders for transfer to the floor or should the orders be for discharge to home, for example, pt. counselling, changing meds from IV to PO etc.? In real life, pt. should continue to be cared at ICU until stable. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
