dude do what I did?
Just go and talk to the PD.
1- She will just look at you like you are retarted and say no.
2- She will look at you and ask about your scores and some other things about you.
If she goes in that direction she is all yours TRY TO IMPRESS her, try not to say anything stupid.
And most importantly be honest with her, they have a six sense for smelling BS and they do not have time for people that are not honest and are just _____

Or just send the PC the letter asking for that information.

If a program clearly states that they require a minimum of 80 on both Step 1 and Step 2...you will be wasting your money applying to that program. They put that crieria up for a reason....

On the bright side there are many programs that clearly state they have no minimum score.....Research your programs well.......Other than scores make sure to check visa requirements and if they require USCE......As I said, there areplenty of programs that do not have cut offs or other strict requirements.....But if they say they do,...they do.

Good Luck!

They almost certainly have a program that filters out scores below the one they set to weed out applications...which means your application will not even be read...you'll just automatically get a letter saying "thank you for applying"...

Actually, most larger programs have this filter,...but they often decide not to reveal what score they set.....Hpwever, if their published applicant criteria states the score...it does us all a favor and helps us all out.....

i agrre with akm

emailing the PC never hurts. Majority of the web sites are never updated(saying from personal experience). I emailed ecery single program and from which I never got a reply, I even called them and asked about their criteria. Then during the middle of the interview season emailed them again about my credentials and that I was really interested in interviewing there. And it worked. So dont be shy in contacting the programs.
