IS IT CORRECT TO SAY "NICE MEETING YOU" AT THE END OF AN ENCOUNTER.
ESP.IF PATIENT IS IN PAIN,OR HAVING SOME DISEASE WITH POOR PROGNOSIS.
IS IT ENOUGH TO JUST SAY "THANK YOU VERY MUCH"
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP HOW TO CONCLUDE THE ENCOUNTER

I think in these cases "Thank you very much" is ok.
Always reassure them, that they can ask you any questions and count on your suppport anytime.

As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

If it is not distressed, say "Nice to meet you" is OK and you say it at the beginning, not at the end. But "Thank you for coming in." or "Take care." can be used for all cases.

Yes, I said two times. "Sorry, I have been paged, I will be back soon."
