After many years in the Medical School, uncountable days in the Hospital, many months studying for the USMLEs, a bunch of $$$$ and not to mention personal and family sacrifices, the match season has come. It feels that everything accomplished until now is nothing compare to what is coming...

I feel a mixture of emotions but basically stressed out. I am doing my part, the rest is up to God but whatever the result, we are fighting hard for our dreams and that help me to keep going...

Feel free to drop a line of encouragement...

I know...but everyday during my USCE i see IMGs who made it without doing anything exceptional. Just people like us...Our time will come eventually smiling face

@sadiq: I hope so and if it doesn't then the key is never give up!

@Ganesha: So true, thanks.

@Hottie: Yeah will better focus on ERAS trying to convince the Programs how great we are

Sharing your feelings here, Ivonne.

You'll do great. You have great scores, doing USCE. You've got it all. One step at a time. Now focus on your aplication and observership.

I'm also doing some externships. I took Step 3 last month and passed (210/87) (a piece of cake, if you do it just after 2CK).

I'm feeling tired for all I had to study, now doing clinical experience... all along with the fact of having to work to pay the bills, the exams and survive... I'm exhausted.

But we did all we could. Now it's time to complete the applications (a tedious, time-taking but easy task compared to all we studied). And then it will all be in God's hands.

Good Luck Ivonne, the time has finally come for the Match process. Finally.
