hii!! im an IMG graduated in year 2005.i took almost 3 years of study time to prepair myself for the exam during which i was very casual and very unpersistent with my studies as a result i couldnt pass the exam.it was a very depressing and sad time.my family and friends advised me to start a job to come out of this phase and to get some financial support for my own self cause i already had waisted 3 years.now its been 6 months my result has come.i still can not manage myself to start the prepertion again.im all seriously dedicated for the preperation but unable to manage my job and study at the same time.im here in this forum to get ur help how should i manage.. is anyone out there had such experience and would like to share with me.. and is there anyone who is doing job and prepaired for the exam at the same time?i'll be really greatfull to all.looking forward to ur help and support.tcz

I have a job and family and I am preparing for the exam. I work 24-36 hours per week and I spend a lot of time with my family. May be it would be more easy just to study or may be not...I believe there are a lot of people who are at the same situation like you...and I believe it is not a major crisis...and still doable. Think about your work schedule and try to adjust your study time. Make 2 hours of study daily before/after/during your work. The most important thing is consistency! Discipline yourself! You will see it is going to be more easy later... Wish you luck!

hey drshero! You are not alone here. I also work like 6hours every day except weekends. Also preparing for the second time.Just as sigh said consistency with time management is the key! A good number of examinees do quite well on their second attempts. And besides that doing qbanks is immensely crucial! You should start doing these like 6 weeks b4 your exams. Thorough perusing of d detailed explanations that follow the qs are also vital. Just be confident my friend and try using first aid right from d start of ur prep. Hey man,i wish u all d best and please feel free to mail me whenever. Will retake mine in 3 months time. Good luck
