hi,
please share ur feedback on this ....
i am doing Kapln Vedio Lecture >>>
my Question is are these lectures a good alternative for
Kaplan lecture notes in book form ?? i make my own notes while hearing vedio lectures >>
so is it possible i can skip kaplan books or still i have to read books....
2).. which subjects are a must to listen from vedio lectures...

hi toronto,
there are variations in the ways each lecturer do it. for example the surgery man just recites the book so you can write after him. while that of Gyna is not . he just tells u how to deal with Questions which is very important.
in my opinion writing form lectutes only will make u lose some signficant details.
for the second question Gyna and IM by Conrad Fischer are a must. some say Pyschiatry too but i still did not try it.

thanks dear,
you mean to say that lecture notes and vedio lectures ( both should be done )
actually i was thinking about saving time to read book cuz i like to listen more rather than read .
how about combining first aid or secrets and kaplan & UW questions with vedio lectures.

i am taking my exam august 12th enshallah,
Kapkan for all+ FA+ Q book for fist time
2nd time Kaplan 2nd reading to UW subjectivewise
3rd time still did not decide what to do
pls feel fre to ask for any specific details...

kaplan for all means kaplan notes or kaplan vedio .
how much time u think will be enough for CK prep

6 months if u r working,
4 if not.
kaplan notes+ some selected videos (the ones i mentioned be4)

Can u pls tell me from where I can get the 2CK Kaplan notes? I downloaded the books for step 1 some time back but I still couldn't find the link to CK notes.

Time depends on concentration, goal, material...But I agree six months if you are working should be fine...
Godafther, did you take already step 1? and what do you think about the time needed for that exam?I am taking step 2ck first, then cs and then hopefully step 1.

some senior guru on PM advised to do CRUSH THE BOARDS AND UW Qs.... that is enough for
people who are working.
... he got 97 % .... any ideas

Why I didn't get CD from usmle when I registered for the exam few weeks ago?
I have heard that UW questions are really good, better than Kaplan , actually tougher.

I planned for September, but since I am excellent in procrastinating...I pushed it back to December 1st hopefully...somehow I imagine that date will work just fine for me (I will take week off for Thanskgiving from work and hopefully master CK then)...
I don't think CRUSH and questions would be enough?!?!
