I decided to youtube this as it helps me immensely to see the patient's display the symptoms visually.

Here is Huntingtons:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkfSx3Qd9eg

Notice there is a lot of facial involvement and just aimless, large movements of the neck. Her mouth is constantly invoolved and basically the whole body is jerking.

Here is Parkinson's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=re_85C1_tBA

Her face is rather absent of affect and her movements are very slow and rigid. And the movements of her extremities is steady trembling but not large and aimless as in Huntingtons.

So while both involve involuntary movements they are distinctively different in their presentation. Also I think facial affect can help differentiate between the two on vignettes. Hope this helps!
