IgE binding to mast cells that have Fc receptor for epsilon heavy chain leada to bridging of two IgE molecules on cell membranes causing release of granules.

i read somewhere montelukest are mast cell stabilizers too.....can anyone verify??

montelukast is an inhibitor of leukotriens release.....used especially in tx asthma.
