I took my Strp 2 CK on June 6. I was hoping to get my result last wednesday, so I kept waiting for the E-mail and checked Oasis several times but got nothing. Is there anybody else who took the exam in first week of June, I want to know if I am the only one who did not got the result or there are other people too, who are still waiting. Any how, here is a little summary of my preparation. I did USMLE world Question bank and my average was 67% did NBME 2 = 610, NBME 3 =630. For the theory I relied entirely on Kaplan.

Hi, cool_doc
You have great scores in NBMEs, I think u will get 99.
The same is happened to my friend who had exam on June 6. You will bothe got result on coming wednesday.
Did u study kaplan Q-bank? How many weeks before ur exam u did NBMEs?
Did u read books like FA, CRUSH ?
How many months did u study?
How did u plan in the last month of ur study?

Falcon, thanks for your reply.
I did not do Kaplan Q bank.
I did NBME 2 one week before the exam and NBME 3 ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE THE EXAM. i think NBME 2 was hard but I was doing it in the middle of night so may be I was tired when I was doing it.
I did not read FA or other books like that, I bought FA but for some reason I did not like it so never read it.
I studeied for 4 months (never kept a record of hours per day, but mostly tried to give as much time as possible)
In last month I gave 10 days to review medicine, I would do a system and then do questions that i had wrong in USMLE world. For Pediatrics I just made notes of USMLE world Questions. Gave 4 days to surgery and 4 to Gyane OBS. Basically I went over the notes quickly and then reviewed questions I missed in first pass through USMLE world.

How many readings of Kaplan books and UW , you did?
Did u make notes from UW?
I am predicting 99 score for u and on Wednesday, u will be going to be very happy.

I did UW once and then selected the wrong question set for review in end. I made notes only for Pediatrics section of UW.
I did two -three readings of Kaplan.

I took it on june 8th, and I'm still waiting too!!!
The server was down yesterday, but oasis seems working fine today.

Please note that during 2008, no new scores for computer-delivered Step examinations will be released during the week of July 2 and during the week of December 29.

hi guys i took my exam on 9 june , i can't wait for my result , i have a question for you : is there any point doing oasis trick before the score is released , cause i did it today and it let me to regester so i frecked out , plzzzzzz some answers

Hi guys,
I took CK yesterday. Of course I expect my results in 3 weeks. I just think that during the summer things get jammed up, a lot of people take their exams now. So I will prepare myself for a longer wait this time.
A general rule (with exceptions) is to receive the score on the third wednesday after your exam.
I know that waiting is terrible but I hope you´ll receive your scores as soon as possible!!!!
