if we apply to categorical im in a program
and if we also select prelim im in same program--

1)does that affect our chances for getting into that programm as program director wd be same for prelim im or categorical im?correct me if wrong

2)we do pay 25$ for categorical prog...if i select prelim in addition to categorical do i need to pay another 25$ for same?

3)is it better to apply for both prelim and categorical im in same programme or its better to make different list of hospitals for each?

I have heard that it is never good to apply for categorical and preliminary positions at once at the same program. This may indicate that you aren't certain in your application strategies and ultimate goal...

But you pay once, just for transmission of your documents to a certain program.
There is not double charge...
