Hi, i am sorry if this has already been asked on here.

I have waived my right to see all my LoRs and I have all of them with me in sealed envelopes.. So, when i send these, Do I have to send all of these as separate mails? as if they were sent to ERAS directly from letter writers themselves? ( which does seem like a safer option) Or can I send them all together as one mail with one DSF ?

Any inputs are appreciated.. thank you!

It will not hurt you to send all of them in a single pack either...

Wait till your AAMC ID is generated, prepare the DSF and list all your LORs on it, and send in a single envelope...

So, they're ok with it i.e. receiving 'waived' LoRs (sealed) directly from the applicants? i mean, would they still consider my LoRs as 'unseen' by me..

(I know you answered me already, but i just wanna be sure grin )

Hitesh,
I do not know what they think about, and how they make their conclusions, but I am sure that message about waiving the right to see the LOR is directed to residency program directors, not ECFMG post office boys and girls... I am sure this should be OK to receive all the stuff in a single pack and process accordingly the instructions on DSF...
To be consistent with my words, I am going to send all my LORs as I discuss it above... It will be much easier to track their delivery...

there was a form from eras about having it sent with along with the letters from the recommender themselves directly to ecfmg-eras adress, i had this form from the last match so if u want to view this u can read it towards the bottom of the instructions it stated that to 'waive' and have them mail it to the address provided.. i hope that helps!

Thank you Justice. i guess I'll do the same.

Hottie99: thank you for the reply. I am gonna attach the cover sheet to all my letters, but my question was whether i should send them all together in one envelope which would make it easier to track and cheaper. And as Justice says, sems like there should not be a problem with it.

Hi hitesh,

Did you call ECFMG? What did they say about it?

I asked this question from ERAS and I got this answer : LOR +COVERSHEET you may send it in sealed envelope by yourself.

azirikani,

Thanks for the answer. I will have a LOR from my home country. I am just a little bit worried about the chance that it might get lost if I ask my reference to mail it to ECFMG. I might just ask him to forward it to me by FEDEX in a sealed envelop and let me mail it myself.
