A case was put in the exam. in which you are told that one of the doctors with you is not coming on time, smells alcoholic etc. etc. talk to him.
I went inside, said hi, how are you. then started with ' I want to talk to you for few minutes, he said my patients are waiting for me. I said yes I know but what I want to say is also very important and that I will not take much of your time. Please don't be annoyed, I am your friend and collegue. I think that you are perhps becoming dependent on alcohol which is bad both for you and your patients as you can't give proper attention to your patients. He said my patients never complained of anything. I said patients have great respect for doctors and they usually don't complain anything. In addition to this usual conversation, is there anything else which should also be addressed or anything in conversation which can be added? thanks
