Once we submit the CAF we cannot change it...My doubt is can we change our address after we submit CAF.Like if I apply to programs from my home country and then after reaching US can I update my address.Because there is a column asking for present address

Do the programs make phone calls to us to send an interview invite? Will it hurt if I give them my phone number of my home country?

Is it ok if I reach the US by october or is it a major disadvantage?

Your address is included in your profile. You will be able to change it.
However, your concerns about the address should be insignificant since all communications between you and ERAS/residency programs occur via e-mail/phone... Ground postal services are not simply used...

There is a place for two addresses, current and permanent. Place for two phone numbers at each address. Since ERAS has come out, I only contact persons via email.

Thank You justice and bbb

My concern was that if I give my home country phone number for a few days ,will it be ok? ( I can change to US number when I reach there)

I have heard about telephone interviews also so can I manage it from my home country?

Will reaching US by october be ok?

phone interviews are very, very rare. 99.9% of the communication is made via email. Nobody ever called me. I was the one calling to schedule interviews after I got the invitation via EMAILsmiling face

you should be okay doc 9.. just update your contact details in your profile.

Like bbb said; most contact is via email. when you call for a telephone interview; you can call from anywhere. October should be okay.
