Hi everyone,
i took my exam on 20 june phili.All the cases were from fa and uw.its only the time and anxiety which is addational to what we prepare for the exam.when i was preparing for the exam i thought that i have aced the 60 cases but it was different game once i enter the exam. i'v done the following mstakes .can anyone tell me how i 'll be doing, because i think i ll fail.
1-DID not repeat history back to the patient in 8 cases.
2-have not written VS in all cases in Pn because the were normal so i forgot.
3-In one case of hearing loss i did not done rinne and weber test.
4-Not have taken Thyriod history in a case of constipation.
5-Not taken Gynae history in Appendicitis case.
6- did not said "i am sorry for your illness" to the patient.
7-have not illicit signs of appendisitis except for tenderness because the patient was in very pain when i palpated his RLQ.
8-Have done only the focused exam and not done cvs exam resp. exam and gi exam in everycase because of time factor and have written only that exam in pn which i performed.
9-overall 8 cases were good and 4 were bad in which 2 were really miserable including case of hearing loss.
Can anyone tell me about the mistakes rest i have done normal.i am really worried.

I am very scared for my exam
Could please help me by sending me list of all the cases you got in ur exam.
I can not comment on ur performance because I have not appeared in this exam.
But I will pray for ur good result.

Hi ,
Let me tell you that the exam is not that difficult those who say its difficult are misguiding , its the anxiety which makes a person commit blunders. So i would say just go relaxed you will be doing fine. The cases where from FA(80%) and UW(20%) , no cases were outside from these books. you will get atleast 7 cases from CNS ,GIT and Resp so conc on them a little more. Parctice single case from each system and time yourself, you do'nt have to practice all the cases. read both books and thats all.
Remember the exam is easy but you should be calm and tension free.I can't give you the cases but remember my words you would be feeling the same after the exam.
