how far did u go in ur study godfather ?
this is my 2nd revision i hope ican stay motivated summer time is calling and chicago is beutiful in summer
have u been there before ? we went to sears tour and saw chicago from there its awonderful sight
but nothing can attempt me enshaa lah iwill resest all these attemptations and study and study and study till i die

I am in the second time so far. studying medicine. will be done with GIT today Enshallah.
unfortunatel i have not been to chicago before. Hopefully i will see it in the match interviews if i have any!!!!

I c that u r preparing for Step2 ... I don't know if u r following Egyptian IMGs thread or not .. but this i had posted there for step2ck taker ....
I highly recommend that u print out Goljan high yield notes ( 36 pages ) ... and don't just review them, MEMORIZE them like ur names .. forget ur names but remember these, if i had done that in CK, I'd have ended up with a much higher score ... Beleive me ... He said in his lectures he prepared them for both steps 1 & 2 .... really gr8 ...

Guys look what i found ...
Goljan has made lectures too for step2, they r 17 hrs, MP3 sound ...
I found it as a part of torrent file for step2 Kaplan videos ... here is the link

The problem is, no one is seeding and also it needs a password, i don't know if anyone of u has these lectures or have any idea about them or know a better link to download them or not ??

i will finish obsgyn today then begin e' pedia they are the weak area on in the nbme profile
i will work on them 1st then complete the 2nd revision ,take nbme agian and we will see
make do3aa for me . how about u did u take any NBME yet? if u dont u should to knnow
where are u stand and what about step 1 ? i didnt take i began e' step2 first

well,
about the 36 pages of golajn, i know nothing about them but i will have a look on them after finishing the 2nd reading enshAllah. the Goljan audio , i have it but i saw a negative feedback about them on this forum mentioning that they are focusing most of the time on Electrolyes. so i need another negative feedback about them to ease my conscience to dumb them.

if u have to listen to any lectures, that would be Kaplan Gyna and
Conrad Fischer's IM. these are the Most Important ones.

yah i like this man but i was sad coz he refused to take pictures e' some muslims relatives
i was so angery from him for that but i thought after all he is better than any one else mybe he is doing that to reach to what he want but after that he will support the plastainian maybe howa knows ??

Hey guys,
Actually i've no idea about the content of Goljan step2, u may start a topic asking about that here in the forum to find out ... but from his step1 lectures and notes, He is a gr8 guy, after he finishes explaining the concept, he tells how the qs r being asked in this concept and gives u all the possibilities also he summarizes at the end, so u finish the lecture having a good grasp of it .... I think if he did the same in step2, then it will be gr8, even if it is in Elcetrolytes only, but u should search for more feedback about that ...
For u godfather, u did step1, so u should have a good basic knowledge and those high yield notes, will be supplementary to u as i think, however they still high yield and will be the best choice to read the night b4 the exam. .... look at them and the decision is urs ... egyusmler has posted a link to download them here is the link ....

I agree with u that Gyn & Conrad are the most important lectures of Kaplan ..
and BTY, sssss ... I used to merger IM and Pediatrics, so that the repeated topics i read them from IM will written there and just add the extra topics from Peds, for example, i review infection from IM notes and add the rash diseases from Peds, in Neuro, added all the syndromes, like tuberous sclerosis, VHL syndrome ....to the IM notes and so on ... in Rheumatology, added the Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, Kawasaki .. etc. and only things from Peds was the 1st few chapters in the notes ...
One more thing, if the goljan step2 turned out to be a waste of time, then i highly recommend that u listen to the renal lectures of step1 they r only 1.5 hrs, and u can only listen to Glomerulonephritis, as they r not will written or explained in step2, will help u alot ...

thank you so much for ur invaluable recommendations, studying IM and complementing it by Ped is a brilliant idea, i actually did something very similar as i studied them successively. I also reffer back to goljan book in many objects like Nephro and blood.
some people also recommend psycho videos but i didnt do them depending on being ex neuro psych resident. i hope i am not wrong by dumbing them,
what do u think mezo?

Forget anything u learned in Egypt ... u gotta watch psych videos the lady is so gr8 and u'll actually get to love psychiatry just because of her ... and by any mean at least it will be a good reminder for u, at least will stimulate ur Audio memory

focus on what u have and don't worry about u don't, We r just like every other population, have our good and bad qualities, it is just that When u r in states, u probably meet a lot of people in libraries, in hospitals where u observe, anywhere, so u don't need to log online to find those, poor ones like us need to log on to look for those ... iltames le A5eek 70 3ozran = Think of 70 excuses to ur brother before u judge him
Anyway, mine too is in August 1st week ... but step1 .. so i'm the 1st victim here ... i'm so bored and studies don't move on .. wish i can pass this phase safe and sound soon ISA ...

i'm not in the states yet, hopefuly i will in a couple of months ISA, if things went smoothly ..

I did 4 forms of NBME, but offline, leaving form 5 & 6 to do online soon ISA ... I heared another thing, heared that forms 2 & 6 are the closest to the exam. ... However, the 4 forms i did, while they have variant difficulty levels, but the weired thing is that i got the same score in all of them .. so i don't beleive in that actually, i think they all the same ...
The problem now is that i changed my original source of Pathology, as now i'm using goljan rapid review the old edition, it has a lot of high yeild points and expalins a lot of things that r the target of qs, Kaplan is just soooooooooooooo Bad it just states the facts with no expalnation at all ... although i know the infos, but scaming a new book takes a lot of time with me, and it is 300 pages double kaplan ... wish i could finish soon, to continue moving as planned ...
FA ... i tried to use, i just can't change my original study books, i do my summaries and mnemonics in them, and every time should be faster than the previous, starting a new book now i think is not advisable at all ...

ok maybe my freind is wrong she just took the exam last week and i asked her some Qs that she told me
but dont worry everybody say that the exam is douable and filled e' horses horses horses nooo zebraes
in the countrary ck evrybody keep saying that the exam is become harder than before that scared me but no mre post poning i will take anyways coz i fed up studying and all my freind took it and left me behind  i hate that  i will finish pedia revsion soon and will start psy enshaa alah next week and take another NBME see what happen
