Hi all!
I was wondering what will be the worst outcome of a visa delay. Mine is pending "administrative processing" for the past 2.5 weeks, my orientation has begun and residency starts on July 1st. The embassy has no answer as to how long it would take!
Will this lead to my residency spot being forfeited? Any idea, friends?

Just mail your program and inform them about the delay and ask them if you can somehow make up for the lost time and they will clarify
In my case they said the later I start the later I will complete-
It might be an issue for fellowship applications but I guess thats only when its delayed longer than 2-3 weeks (after July1)
