hi everyone
please gather here whoever is waiting for their passport return.. I have to begin residency in 1 week and I havn't received my passport yet.. I took my H1B visa interview in New Delhi, India on June11. The visa officer said it might take 7 business days... its cruel to make us wait so long.. I will have to miss the orientation and booking a flight on the last minute costs a fortune..
Anyone else in my boat.

I have been waiting for 4 weeks too. the embassy only says 'administrative processing can take up to 6 weeks' and my orientation has already begun!

HI everybody
I'm a little tensed now seeing this post. I appeareed for Interview at New Delhi for J1, and it's been more than 3days and still my passport has not been returned back. No reason is being given by either VFS or US Embassy.My program starts on 23rd June.I had ready missed my ACLS/BLS certification course. Im keeping my fingers crossed now.
