I was looking into 12month university based certificate courses in Clinical research for research associates/coordinators etc...does anybody know how much value these courses carry...whether they help at all? The course material seems to be very practical and useful...from what the describe they would be covering...! People doing MPh generally have a good foundation for research...i was wondering if these certificate courses had a similar impact and if they r taken seriously by professors hiring research assistants? Any input would be great. If anybody has completed any of these courses, please come forward and give us an opinion... Thanks...

I heard about this. And I am thinking myself about this programs. Cost is approx. 2000-4000$. But what I heard from people that it's very hard to get into CRA or clinical data coordinators jobs without real experience, even if you have deep knowledge about clinical studies. I found many CRA courses online.
