Hi, during my last 10 blocks in UW I´ve experienced the following: I´m either low around 54% or high like 78%. There seems to be no percentages around average, which is 63% for me. Does anyone share the same experience? And: does anybody know why that is? Is it me (knowledge, motivation etc....) or is it the question combination of each block or something else? Any advice?

It's completely normal annegermany, If it helps, my scores ranged from 36% to 96% in a block and I did quite well in real test. So don't worry. you'll be fine

Thanks, I thought since there is eight blocks, there will be a nice mixture of all scores in all blocks. But we´ll never know. @deja_vu: Wow, what a difference, that makes me believe, that it purely is up to the questions. Good luck to y´all!

UW also gives you the average score for each test you take. I think your score with respect to the average is more likely to be consistent than the absolute score.. that is, if in a particular test, you score much lower than your average then the average score for that test is also likely to be low. It gives you an idea about the overall difficulty of that block and why u might not have scored well. Good Luck!

@hitesh: True though, it´s good to compare oneself to the overall average of a certain block.

Hey...It seems to be a phenomenon like u said But i`d like to assure u cuz I heard ppl saying that u have to add 30 to the cumulative percentage of correct answers if u want to predict real test score..Ofcourse this is not sure, but anyway if it`s true u`ll be fine in the real test

I think the average score means: Average score for this specific question combination of all people who have taken USMLEWorld to this certain point of time. Guys, correct me if I´m wrong....
