dear bbb,
im going crazy trying to find a answer to this from internet. please help
im a usa citizen currently finishing up medical school in another country, i have done all my core rotation in that country and now want to do few months of elective rotations in america.
I have found a website american clerkship which offers hands on clinical rotations in states with a attending who teaches at a teaching hospital but the hospital i will be doing rotations in is not a teaching hospital. would that be a problem when im applying for residency or during licensure?

thanks in advance...

It doesn't matter if it's a teaching hospital or not. Do your research carefully, especially if this site is asking you to pay for this experience. It won't matter during licensing as this is a student rotation.

q for bbb sir also...
I read in alot of the forums where ppl say make sure that all your core and elective rotations are greenbook...
what do the residency directors look for in case of USCE? is any hands on experince in any hospital(teaching or non teaching) considered USCE?or does non teaching hospital rotations good only for elective rotations?

this whole thing is very confusing plus when we read in the forums, you don't know what those ppl's resources are for information....it seems like alot of them make stuff up

tk
