C) Chromosome aneuploidy

I WILL SAY MUILTIFACATORIAL INHERITENCE
CHROMOSOAL ANEUPLOIDY WILL HAVE MORE THAN THAT( JUST ASSUMING)SINCE CHROMOSOME WILL BE INVOLVED IN MORE THAN ONE FUNCTIONS.

  #6

cleft lip n plate has multifactorial inheritance but i am confused in this case with no family History

  #7

I BELIEVE FOR MULTIFACTORIAL INHERITENCE FAMILY HX IS NOT IMP.( I AM NOT GOOD IN GENETICS ) PLEASE CORRECT ME IF U KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS TYPE OF INHERITENCE

According to my kaplan notes, Aneuploidy indicates deviation from euploid number of chromosomes, meaning a loss or gain of chromosomes. Two major types are trisomy (3 copies of a chromosome) and monosomy (one copy of a chromosome).
This example is trisomy 13, Patau syndrome, with oral facial clefts.
Monosomies and trisomes are usually caused by non disjunction.
