Hi I failed step1 barely. I am preparing for it again. I am currently doing my clinicals and studying to retake it in June. I think I didn't do enough questions. I am currently doing Q-bank again. Anyone have any suggestion on what else to do how about board simulator series and NMS review? I only did q bank last time scoring about 60%. I am a bit apprehensive on what to do. I am re-reading some of the kaplan book but mostly studying out of first aid.
Any suggestions or input is much appreciated.

You have to read whole review books. Most inportant you have to change your studying method and habit if you taking it second time! FA is nothing, you have to read much more! Good luck!

Bali, try it one more time , you will see, that you will pass next time,Look be happy you took your test alredy that for me is a big step.
This time try to read a lot of questions with explanation.

sorry about your score; but you are doing the right thing.. hang in there, do lots of questions.. you can do it!! I myself failed step one 3 times and am going to give it one more shot! but right now I am having a problem with my med school they may not let me come back!! Does ur school allow the clinicals to start without passing step 1?? If so, can you help me out and let me know which school it is or if you know what school allows this?? I would really apppreciate any input.. thanx

Hi everybody I am an IMG , is my first time i write in this forum even i am a silent reader of you guys for almost a year.
I just got my score today after 3 weeks of anxiety 179 / 72 is the second time i failed. I thought this second time i did good in the exam but the result was so shocking , im devastated .
Time preparation : 8 month
Step 1 score : 179/72
Kaplan cd : 90%
Kaplan q book : 70 %
Kaplan q bank : 80% ( score 60 ) once
UW : 100% ( score 55 ) once
First Aids : twice
NBME ( 2 ) : 390
I think one of my problems is because i was so nervous during the exam and the question was so long , i miss 2 questions each block because the time was no enought .
I m thinking to forget the step 1 for a while and go to step 2 first , What you think?. I also was thinking to quit because any program is going to take me after failed twice but now i dont care what i care is pass step 1 because is like my personal fight, lets see what happen later. What do you guys think? what i should do now? i m really need your advise.
