This is the link of the sample ERAS worksheet

http://www.aamc.org/students/eras/resources/downl...

Please clear these doubts

In page 2 of application,They ask to mention higher education.Do we have to mention +2 education

On page 8 we are supposed to mention about board certification. Is it the MBBS certificate we receive from our state

And about language fluency what should we write

looks like i am going to ans ur question againsmiling face!

page 2 --i ticked none; by higher education they mean beyond high school..as in pre med..if u have a BSc etc only then..

Page 8-- in the actual ERAS worksheet I did fill fill my Indian state licensures even though i guess what they are asking for is US Board license

language fluency is that other than english--i wrote bengali and hindi

btw this worksheet is just a template of what the worksheet is in ERAS..u will need to fill that again..and that will be ur CAF (common aplication form) ..this is just for practise

Thanks mukho

I knew you would answer my question againnod

I know this is just a practice sheet but because you will get busy from next month with your residency I wanted to clear my doubts now itself.

Regarding language fluency they have asked to describe it Thats why I was confused

And we have a column to state all the awards and honours we received. What if we have not received any awards? Will keeping it b;lank adversely affect us?

smiling face ur welcome...anytime
i didnt describe fluency--i just mentioned the languages i knew

there are 2 columns...one says medical school awards--if u dont have any leave it blank; not everyone is expected to have that, though think really hard, any quiz u participated in..if u were the top 10-15% and ur med school is ready to give u a letter stating same...but if there isnt anything then there isnt a choice but to leave it blank

the second column in the ERAS will be 'other accomplishments'--i put in all other experiences i wanted to tell the PDs which i felt would reflect my general attitude...workshops i attended, BLS, pediatric advanced life support (even though mine was from india and not valid in US)...

I'd like to ask a question here too.........

Where it says if your school will provide MSPE........Can we click on "yes" if we have something like a Dean's letter instead?

hmm...if that is what u want to send in place of the MSPE i guess thats what u would do...o/w they may consider ur deans letter as just a LOR...so u would click yes and submit a deans letter...but again its always better to confirm with ERAS
