can anyone answer my following questions please
how hard is it to get residency if u have student visa or visitor visa
thats still not the main issue. there are many programs out there willing to sponsor a visa and actually all of the programs shouldnt have any problem with J1 visa which is actuallly sponsored by ECFMG and not the program.

my parents are having GC>. so does that help me ??
Not at all in anyway except you will have a little more difficulty in getting a visit visa (showing intent of coming back) and you will probably have places to stay free of cost. thats about it.
