hey there how are you?
I had a quick question, thats kind of crazy. but.... if one were to say they just did their step 1 exam, like wrote it, is there any way of the person checking to see if they really did?
my parents are hassling me to write it asap, and i was considering telling them i wrote it, but really write it a few months after. they think that it takes 3 months to get the results back so iw as thinking as long as i have my exam written in that time, it shall be okay.
anywone ever try this?
anyone know any other ideas?
my parents are just not willing to give me more time, when i feel like i have not learnt anything, literally, with going to clinical rotations and everything, its been impossible to squeeze study time in.
i was considering saying that, the ecfmg signed me up for the wrong block accidently, but i dont know if that is crazy. or saying that there is no time available during that time.

loll not to be mean but that has got to be the funniest post i have ever read....and according to my understanding...i dont think there is a way for anyone to check....so i guess try it

lol yea im a pretty funny person, a surprising one 
i know this forum is all mature, and everyone just asks test questions. but i hope that there is someone out there who has crazy parents , or an authority figure that doesnt understand this test takes time

No one will ever understand unless they go throught the same path. I am not doing as good as I used to at school because I am spending a lot of time studying for step 1. So I got a phone call from my Mom. She was very dissappointed and said that I better get a %100 on USMLE! and she said: isnt all medicine the same? what ever exam you study for you should end up doing good on all exams! 
So what do I do about it? IGNORE. I tell them the absolute minimum as long as I know what I am doing. I only discuss this exam and the medical experience as a whole with guys who would understand and appreciate what I am talking about and what I am going through.

no one knows any details unless u reveal ur ECFMG number and password to them.. more importantly ur ECFMG number...
