HELLO EVERYBODY,
YESTERDAY I WAS PLANNING TO BUY NBME-1 FOR STEP-1 AND BY MISTAKE I HAVE BOUGHT STEP-2 FORM-1.TODAY MORNING WHEN I WAS PLANNING TO DO Q.I FIGURED OUT MY MISTAKE..WHAT SHOULD I DO?I HAVE NOT USED A SINGLE QUESTION FROM THAT...WILL MY 45$ BE WASTED? IF ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA REGARDING THIS SITUATION..PLS.HELP ..I HAVE EXAMS OF STEP-1 IN 3WEEKS. :cry:

dont be tense naisarg, be cool, you have not used the product yet, try to contact nbme, you have good chances of reverting those q to step 1 questions.. be coooool. best of luck.

dear nairsarg.. maybe u can sell the step 2 to folks taking step 2, try to share that with step 2 forum... hopefully it will work out.
nb.. what is ur score in qbank online??
do u feel confident of taking the test in 2 weeks?

I m doing Q-bank for 2nd time...coz this is my 2nd attempt and i m scoring average 75% right now with 1000 Q ie .have solved half Q-bank online.I won't feel till lastday that i m prepared,but i have no choice...i have to give exams anyhow in may 1st week or else there will be long break and then it will take too long to give exams again..hopefully i clear my exams this time with good score.GOODLUCK.

how are you studying for it? I am taking it two for second time, can't seem to get beyond 60% on Q-bank. Any tips? I have been rereading first aid again as well as the kaplan books.

I have just read kaplan and FA only...no other books or any material...i think i know most of the Q of Q-bank,that might be the reason...coz i did for 1st time in october month only.I gave my exams in nov.end...and i started preparing again for my 2nd attempt.just try to read theory more and more and then do solve Q.....When did u do Q-bank last time and what was ur scores at that time? Ur reading kaplan or any other notes also.what is ur way of preparation now for 2nd time?

Thanks for prompt replied naisarg. I was scoring about 65% on kaplan and sometimes around 70%. I did about 60% on Q bank. I have started to study just using kaplan book as well as first aid again. I am trying to do 100 questions a day. At the same time I am doing clinicals so I am hoping what I learn in the hospital will help me out. I have schedule my exam for this June. I did q bank last june, july & august. I also took their intense prep class back then. My goal is to do more question and I am currently revising pathology with kaplan book now. I also started to do some nms question. My friend told me that I need to familiarize myself with the way the question is being asked and know what they are looking for. I think I will stick to q bank and maybe should I do some add'l questions from board review series?
