Hello dear and belove it friedns/collegues/brothers/sisters
If I want to do residency in one place, but I do not have the minimun requirements they ask for, and they will not even give an interview if I apply there.
What can I do to get a spot for residency there? 
2- If I do not have the minimum requiremtnes for the program can the PD or the Chairman give me the chance?
Let me explain
Paheli or mytime is the PD  and I do not have the minimun requirments there, but paheli and my time will help me.
Do they have the power to give me the chance?
Im getting ervous with all this residency stuff, last year I just saw how it was going to have a feel for it. Now is going to be my turn and Im starting to get the bijiivivs
Let me study for my exam to have it pass by the time of application

minimum requirements are malleable according to how well u match up to other criteria..let me give u 2 examples (and not hypothetical)
XYZ peds had criteria for application as 6 mnths hands on clinical training...did not let me even apply( did obs from there)..but met an intern, IMG from my country, who had done MPH 4 mnths from US and had got the spot...why they changed rules for her, whether they took her MPH as clinical experience, whether it was because she had a visa...i dont know the why but the rules were changed
I myself read criteria in a prog as 1 yr US observership...it was a frustrating time then and in a rare moment of irritation i wrote to the PD asking what she felt (after 3 yr peds residency in India) i would learn from a whole year of "observing" that wouldnt learn in 4 mnths...i told her my LOR writers from US would vouch for my clinical acumen if that was the question...she wrote back that i should apply and each application would be viewed individually not just based on such criteria..they are preferences not written in stone! (i however didnt apply coz later i came to know they didnt give visas either!)
so if u really want someplace bad try anyways, u never know what the great cosmic plan has in store for u (if the PD likes/knows u, it helps to bend rules all the more)

Yes, I think if Paheli was impressed with a certain GOGETA, but he did not meet the very rigid criteria, she would still give him the chance he deserves.

I should go for Paheli, P.D. qualification rather than Paheli, M.D. It's prolly a LOT easier than the MD degree process!
