in a pt with antiphospholipid ab syndrome who is pregnant,is treated with low dose asprin ,is it right?

low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) is used..aspirin can b given as adjunct.. i have read somewhere that unfractionated heparin is not effective.. someone correct me if im wrong

Heparin, LMWH (plus calcium and vitamin D), low dose aspirin and IVIg are used.

Arlete so we give all of that stuff or just the LMWH?

As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

It depends on the clinical setting. You may add the aspirin to the heparin or LMWH, you may use only the aspirin, and if the case is grave, you use the IVIg with them.
