35 YR old woman comes to the physician for an initial visit .she refuses to fill out a questionarrie form abt personal data and her medical history,then sits silently in waiting room with fists clenched .when physician greets her in the exam ination room ,she says,"lets get this over with ." which most likely facilitate communication with the pt.? 1)"i can see that u r upset .please tell me what is bothering u? 2)"ok. tell me what brings u in" some ppl hv answered 1),but do u think that it is a good idea to confront the pt with their condition like angryness ,upsetness ? wat do u think the best ans should b?

I'd go with one. Would it be wise to ignore that she's (very obviously) upset.

1 for any chance the angry pt, upset pt is still our patient ...and we have to confront with the immediate prob first..which is that she seems upset ...so sure 1
