I just wanted to put down my thoughts and I thought this was the right place..

I had recently been to my home country and now I am back to the US.I am back to my studies but I m unable to study because thoughts of all my loved ones are bothering me.At this peak time just few months before the match when I should be concentrating on studies I am wondering if I made the right decision by chosing usmle...The land of golden opportunities but at the cost of living away from your parents,friends,relatives....

Whatever it is I am already on this road and hope GOD gives me strength to continue....

I think that way so often.Me and my husband came here so that we can settle and enjoy life here. Now as we miss our family and country,we have decide to study hard, get a good degree and go back to our country.I pray to God that he guide us in our paths and help us realise our destiny.

So true.

I came here because i wanted to see the other view-point of the world and medicine..

and now i can't bear my parent's voice as they pretend not to miss me.

Well I very much am going back after the residency.
