didnt post yesterday cuz didnt get a lot of studying done 
i did musulo thoroughly twice from rapid review and did cell chapter and immunopath. chapter in 2 days ......need to get out of my turtle shell and speed up the process .......i can literallly smell the exam approaching me  ....so have to work harder thn ever before !!!

today i finished cell and neoplasia from goljan and did respiratory and did webpath q's ........i have picked up the pace finally and doing ok these days as i just have few eeks for my exam ............will be doing physio tomorrow and goljan as well ....will update later

NERVOUSNESS AND anxiety kicking in real bad ...the fear of failure , the fear of not doing well , the fear of forgetting everything at the exam day .........
but this time i will kill all fear and all doubts by my hard work and persistence .....strted resp path and will finish it tonight with acid base from the physio as well ............

Hi match2010, I hear you! I have been in such states myself ......but now I dont let any negatives sink in! No nervousness........no fear of forgeting in exam...........NO NO NO NO!
A BIG NO!
Think only positive thoughts - visualize that you are taking the exam confidently , you know all your stuff. You even smile how cunningly they have twisted the question !!! Every day visualize what your study target is and for a few minutes before starting to study close your eyes and visualize you are browsing through these pages steadily and confidently without any distractions as you grasp every nitty gritty detail..........You are bigger than the exam ..........as someone said in my journal - "it is only 350 questions" . I would like no more negative thoughts or pessimisms in your journal . Okay Good luck buddy.

thanks target for the motivation !! and yes ur right we sudnt leave any rooom for any negative thoughts at all ......when are you taking ur exam ?? i have 77 days left now and im trying to cope up with all the anxiety cuz i still have so much left to do and thts worrying me a lot ...but i still have few weeks and i will make best use of it .................thanx again

HI
Im back on the track , wasnt able to focus as i was really worried that my exam was coming so close and i didnt cover a lot of stuff and so i didnt do well on nbme so decided to take few more days......SO now im back with full motivation to do this and ace step 1 .....this time i need to look at my weaknesses and work hard on it and no looking back at all ......i have to KEEP SWIMMING
so i will not waste anymore time and give my best for this exam in 74 days !!! thats it and i have to take it and ace it as well .......i will be doing kaplan notes+ UW+ FA+ GOLJAN ......
I will update my journal regularly .......

Last time i did GOLJAN more and didnt do much from kaplan so this time i will do kaplan also and will keep doing FA, UW with this as well .........
I dont want to end up with a low score so i want to work very hard and give my best shot at it so that i dont regret after exam that i cud have worked harder ......so here it is im ready to fight my most dreadest of fear and that is step 1 ....but this time im ready to knock it down and will work hard for a 99 !!!

so this journal from today will reflect all my daily work either good or bad BUT i will make sure that this time it will be only good and nothing bad will come up regarding my hard work .....and someone said that ''champions are not born , THEY ARE MADE '' so everything depends on how much hard work you do and how much effort you put into this !!!
so here i come ...i know i have 74 days left and i will make use of ervy second of it .....
so todays target is 5 chap. from B.S , CNS from path and 50 UW q's with notes of it in FA.......

Some pearls from Dr. Daugherty:
- You are preparing for a test: not for the practice of medicine.
- You CAN’T LEARN EVERYTHING! Decide where the gap in your knowledge is and learn it.
- Take short breaks. About every 50 minutes. Walk around. Stretch a bit. Go to the bath room. If the study breaks are getting longer, and you cannot control yourself, BUY A TIMER to control your breaks. When it goes BING after 10 minutes, time to study again! Don’t sit for 4 hrs at a stretch-you basically wasted the last 2.5 hrs!
