Who do you live with? How do you feel living there? Are you comfortable? Do you feel safe? Do you feel threatened? You can even ask directly if the elder hesitates. Remember you don't need consent to report elder abuse [which you need for spousal abuse]

what would you advise the pt if they don't confirm it but seem anxious about it? (the first aid case that I read only asked if the pt was interested in moving to an asisted living complex or one for seniors) Would you confront them about abuse? How would you tell them about reporting it?
