i like to answer all the posts where i can give emotional support coz since i'm in the process of giving the exam im still in the phase of try n' fail, n' im unsure how to advise ppl on how to study n' what to study...i think once i'm more on the way of givin the exam i'd be more helpful to others....anywayz....moral support, yes....

well not-much-time....i hope things go better, n' you'll be able to more clearly see where you are when u've done the nbme, i hope you get to finish everything in time....just think of this...it'll be over very very soon so just give it everything you have for these last few weeks....the frustration will build up, as well as anxiety n' stress but also think of it the other way....after the exam, it's all over...just think of that finish line...

but i was thinking if i am planning to give exam in first week of july i ve only 1 month left and still i dont feel like i remember anything. this was not the situation in step 1. may be after doin MCQS ill be in better situation.
hope i can get through it

hi not much time! your nick makes me anxious, too.nodsmiling face

I know how it feels..I'm in a similar condition preparing for my ck..I'm planning for 2 weeks after yours.
hey buddy, do not panic..when it comes to you feeling like that just remember: you know A LOT of things( nobody knows everything)..you only need some practice. so, go on for UW and things will get better and you will become more confident.
I haven't started UW yet..I haven't been done with notes either..but I try to see things from an optimistic view.

wish you good luck

THANK U kleovoulos for ur support too

i ve started UW done 4 blocks yet can anyone tell me what is the fastest way of doing UW WHILE TAKING NOTES ALSO.
i am taking too much time. but i m taking notes of only those ques in which im wrong not all of them otherwise i ll do only 1 block /day.
any tips on that.

I would suggest you write down only a few words or the main point of what the Q is testing. Many times during my prep for step1 did I use to take notes of only what was written in tne last paragraph( especially when I was short of time)...Take a quick look at the whole answer and the options that seemed to be correct(but were not) and focus on the main facts.

today i was able to do only 1 block and with much disturbance b/c my daughter was irritating me. on top of that i got 50% in that block more depressing.
now im so sleepy cant start new block or else i ll ruin it too.
tomorrow i wont be able to study coz have to go on picnic with family.
i dont think i ll be able to complete UW in 15 days which was my target. lets see what happens. i hope whatever im studying it gets stuck in my brain.

and yes kleovoulos abt taking notes i was saying that i take notes only from those ques in which im wrong eg in 46 ques if i get 15 wrong ill take notes only for those 15 i dont have time to review the correct ones
