Hey skamran, 10 days full time is plenty of time for grasping the material, but you have to start practicing from day 1 say 3-4 cases per day. Practice is key as all books mention but what I have provided is logical approach for consolidating your memory and knowledge to score well in every aspect of the exam. Good luck.

I wanted to ask if anyone was able to print the neeraj cs notes? I am unable to do it, anyone know how? Thanks! Also can we modify the neuro exam to specific system, like lets say I just wanted to do the hearing part? Do I need to do the full exam and sensations too? Thanks guys!

Hey thanks, I really love this forum, the spirit, the support and all. Having it July 31st. Have 10 FA cases left, but will do them over again when my husband is recovering from his varicosis surgery at home. Poor him. So he doesn´t even have to act like patient, because he IS one. No joke, I do the greeting, draping, washing etc. all in my sleep but I ALWAYS miss something to ask or in the PE. For example suicidal ideation in depression or otoscopy in hearing problem. Hope, I can find a way to ALWAYS do the important stuff. Do you have any input or is it just "normal"? Thanks for your post! Cheers!

Hi Anne, I have been thru the same phase..forgeting some important stuff.....make a note of it in your note book......actually for every case I made important questions to be asked and important exams to perform - I should rephrase it not for every case but system. Like for eg. Joint - you should remember not only to examine joint but movements which most likely you will remember but you should look for distal motor and sensory deficits .......also vascular deficits....like ulcers on the skin. These are some nuances which are not covered very well in books and I got it here and there. I didnt have time to write those down but plan to put it up soon after my step1 is over. Since yr method is akin to mine you could try to write for a CNS case - what questions what important exam you should do. Every time you forget something write it in red or something under the system exam ........so whenever you get the case it glares at you. Hope I didnt confuse you. I hope you husband gets better. He must be young I assume and wonder what caused his varicosis? My dad has it too and wears crepe bandage all the time. You have time to master the art for CS.....good luck!

Hey and thanks again target. Just did CS today. Of course, now that I´m home I remeber ALL the things that I should have done and have forgotten. Is this a common feeling? I did all the greeting, draping, washing bla bla bla in every case. just realized that I actually did a test, that I forgot to mention in the note and so on and so on.
