i don't think it's OCP, although i would like to see a co-relation if someone finds it.

so far what i found is this:

**Contraceptive options for women with CF who fulfill the WHO Medical Eligibility Criteria For Contraceptive Use are the same as for those without this condition.

**There is no particular method of contraception contraindicated or recommended for women with CF. Each method needs to be weighed up against the particular pathologies, caused by cystic fibrosis, that are present in the woman, as one would do with all patients.

**Important considerations may include venous thromboembolism, drug interactions, osteoporosis, diabetes, and cholelithiasis.

**Risks and benefits of all contraceptive methods should be assessed on an individual basis and balanced against the risks of unplanned pregnancy.

http://www.rsmpress.co.uk/S45-7.PDF

this article gives a table which describes all the contraceptive methods and their efficacy in CF patients. (the above mentioned points are from this article as well).

i came across several research articles that have said studies were conducted on OCP causing decreased pulmonary function, however the studies were so small (ie. number of people who were observed were not that many) for them to conclude definitely. so overall they have concluded that no major risk exists.

i think the answer is 4. irregular physical therapy of lungs

In the lungs ,due to CFTR gene mutation, the respiratory tract is dehydrated. It is this dehydration that causes defective mucociliary action, accumulation of hyperconcentrated viscid secretions and recurrent pulmonary infections.
sport=more than normal physical activity, which probably causes more dehydration, and further decrease in lung function.
This is my logic, wonder what the answer is

i feel strongly for 4
