I took my exam last tuesday & to be honest it was pretty hard & was more like a test for your general medical knowlege. They decreased the # of questions in every block o 48 but I was least expecting the questions to be so long. I guess 80 % of my questions were 6 to 7 line question & in almost every block I was left with 6 or 7 minutes for the last 8 questions. In first block i could not even open the last 3 q's & time was up . Anyway I must confess the exam was pretty hard for me although I studied a lot for this exam & used all the resources that other people commonly used. I finished kaplan books 3 times listen to lectures once , Gojan audios once FA almost 3 times. USMLE world finished once. Didnt take any NBME which I wish I should have. Abt the q's it was mosty pathology with a long clinical scenerio. 50 yr old came to hospital with blah blah with 5 or 6 lab values. & then they ask either which drug or diagnosis or they ask the doctor already gave him this medication what shud be ur next step in management? Pharma was hard for me. Micro was easy Immmuno was out of blue . physio biochem straight behavioral was easy too. No embryology at all in my exam but histogy was there. Anatomy was few q's but not that easy. I just hope I will pass this terrible exam. I am not left with enough energy to read all the stuff again. anyway palnning to take my CS next month. Anyway feel free to ask any question abt the exam.

Thanx for all your support & wishes. I didnt get any of the audio visual stuff in my exam. For ghost surgeon yeah Kaplan is more than enough for Biochemistry + do lots of Q's on genetics & molecular biology. All the enzyme deficienies in Biochem are extremely high yield.
