Please excuse me if this is not the right forum for this topic.
I am looking for a nanny preferebly of pakistani or indian origin for my 4 yrs old child. Ideally someone who can drive and pick him up from preschool at 10 min drive from my home in mt vernon weschester county NY. This will be from 11.30 am till 5 pm job.
Since I am new to the area I dont know how to find a reliable person. I assume many of you will be starting residency this JULY how are you handling this childcare problem.
I have thought about day care but that means leaving the child outside of home for around 12 hrs which I'm not comfortable with.
Please help with advices references etc

My friend found a nanny here http://www.greataupair.com/ , there are from all over the world, part time and full time, must register.
